Annabelle

As most of you already know, Annabelle Violette is here. She was born on Thursday, January 2nd by cesarian section. Our little shrimp weighed 6.5 pounds at birth. Everything went well. We came back home on Sunday. We're now taking a bit of time off from work to bound with the baby and take naps to be able to handle the night feedings. Vincent is the best big brother, he loves her and keeps saying how cute she is. He doesn't feel left out at all and always wants Annabelle to be next to him. We think she looks a lot like him when he was a baby. Here are a few pictures from the hospital. If you're a bit squeamish, scroll down quickly.
Comme vous le savez, Annabelle Violette est née le jeudi 2 janvier par césarienne. Notre petite coccinelle pesait 2,9 kilos à la naissance. Tout s'est bien passé. On est rentrés dimanche. On s'accorde quelques jours de "repos" sans travailler pour pouvoir faire un tas de siestes et tenir quand elle se réveille toutes les 2-3 heures la nuit. Vincent est un super grand frère, il adore le bébé et n'arrête pas de dire à quel point elle est mignonne. Il ne se sent pas exclu du tout et veut toujours garder Annabelle à côté de lui. D'ailleurs, on leur trouve un petit air de ressemblance. Voici quelques photos. Attention, c'est un peu gore.
