We had our 31st week appointment today. Everything looks fine. And the ultrasound revealed that the baby already has a lot of hair on her head. Apparently I also have a lot of water which might explain why my stomach is so big.
For those who asked, Vincent is very excited about the baby. He fell asleep with his hand on my stomach yesterday. He also decided that her name is going to be Violet but we are not totally sold on it. And we just had to teach him a few things like, when the baby cries at night, no we do not put a pillow on her face to keep her quiet and let mommy and daddy sleep.
31 semaines et tout va bien. L'ėchographie a révélé que le bébé avait déjà beaucoup de cheveux sur la tête. Apparemment j'ai aussi beaucoup d'eau, ce qui explique pourquoi j'ai un ventre aussi gros.
Pour ceux qui m'ont posé la question, Vincent attend avec impatience la venue du bébé. Il s'est endormi avec la main sur mon ventre hier soir. Il a aussi décidé que le bébé s'appellerait Violette mais on n'est pas encore complètement convaincus. Et il a fallu lui apprendre deux ou trois choses, du genre : non, on ne met pas d'oreiller sur la tête du bébé quand il pleure la nuit pour laisser dormir papa et maman.
